Carolyn Parrott, Personal HistorianCarolyn Parrott, Founder and Chief Memory Keeper, brings two decades of business experience to her work as a personal historian. Her passion for capturing and preserving stories of the past was discovered when she created a book as a gift and legacy for two granddaughters for their birthdays. Writing this book about her life as a child enabled her to use interests and skills she really enjoys—her love of photography, writing, and graphic design.
Prior to founding Kept Memory, Carolyn worked in the field of career management where she helped individuals tell their work-related stories and create word pictures to make them memorable to prospective employers. She enjoys helping her clients preserve their family stories and personal histories, taking them from ideas to tangible products. Carolyn is a member of the Association of Personal Historians, a worldwide organization dedicated to helping individuals, families, organizations, and communities preserve their stories. Carolyn completed training as a Guided Autobiography instructor through the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies. |
